Citrine is derived from the french word citron, which means lemon. Known as the “Stone of Success” in Chinese legends, it was given to those who were exceedingly generous. Citrine is also known as the Merchant’s Stone, said to bring the wearer wealth and abundance. Those who follow the law of attraction or manifestation would do well wearing this gem while visualizing their end goal.

A joyful stone, its sunny hue can range from pale yellow to a smokey golden brown. Citrine can be found mixed within clusters of Amethyst, where the combo become known as Ametrine.
