The name tourmaline is derived from the Sinhalese word turamali which literally means “gem of mixed colors”. That’s because tourmaline is available in every color of the rainbow! Pink tourmaline is said to help release feelings of stress, anxiety and sadness. It is a stone of love and nurturing, encouraging feelings of compassion.
